There have been two news stories that I have found just disgusting and horrible.. The first one I can't even talk about..You can read about it here. Let me just say it involves a baby and a very strong stomach is needed to read it.

The second story also involves a baby. What is with crimes involving babies? I'm sick of it..it's just wrong! Anyway, the second story involves a baby being cut from the womb and the mom, obviously dying. Very sad, sad story. The poor mom must of been scared to death. I am happy to report though, that the baby was found alive and the suspect caught! You can read about it in detail here. Another very sad story.

I can barely stand to read the news anymore....ugh!

I've read Twilight and New Moon, and am waiting for my copy of Eclipse to come..I ordered it from Amazon books. I can't wait...I'm so excited. I haven't seen any of the movies yet. I really need to go the video store and rent Twilight, because I am definitely watching New Moon in theaters when it comes out. I keep seeing all the teasers from the movie. The trailer looks awesome and so do the movie posters. I feel kind of silly being so obsessed over a book and movie, since I'm 30, but I can't help it. They are so good!

I've been watching Harry Potter all day and of course Robert Pattinson is in Harry Potter, he played Cedric Diggory. He was good in Harry Potter. I can't wait to see him in the Twilight movies. I'm sure he's awesome. He better be...lol. I'm a huge Edward fan, so I hope he is good in the movie. I've heard he is, so I'm not really worried about it.

Hopefully next weekend I'll have time to rent the movie and watch it. So have you read the books or watched the movie? What did you think of them?

This wedding entrance is definitely unique, funny, and definitely will not be forgotten by anyone that attended this wedding..lol..

Yesterday we had a nice family day out...we went to the mall and wandered around for the whole day pretty much. I can't believe how busy it still is. The campers and tourists are still out in full force. We got stuck in traffic yesterday waiting for a camper that broke down and was getting towed. I wonder how much rv towing costs? I want to get one someday. I think that would be a blast. I love camping, but am not too keen on the whole tent camping thing..lol! I prefer a bed over laying on the ground. I also prefer a toilet over hiding behind a bush..lol! One of these days we'll have one. Just have to start saving my pennies, that's the hard part. I figure by the time the kids are grown and out of the house, we should be able to afford one. Sorry kids! lol!

Do you have any great camping stories to share? Leave a comment!

My husband works for an Insurance Company. He works in the IT department...in other words...he's a computer geek. It's a fairly small insurance company, and is family owned. Very nice company to work for. Earlier today while we were watching tv(Harry Potter!) we happened to see a commercial for them on tv. It was kind of weird...lol! The commercial was hilarious. Their insurance marketing dept must be doing pretty good. Which is of course good for the company as a whole. I expect a big Christmas bonus this year...just kidding! lol!

My husband has had Harry Potter movies on all day! All day people! Don't get me wrong...I love the Harry Potter movies..but all day? UGH! If he doesn't switch the channel soon...I'm going to have to find a way to steal the remote....or take a nap...oh wait! I already took a nap...ugh! I guess another nap wouldn't hurt..LOL!

I cannot believe how incredibly lazy I have become. I need to get my butt in gear and start doing something, not sure what, but something. I still want to get a treadmill and am working on getting one of those this weekend. I am really excited and think it will really help me get out of this funk I'm in. I also need to start taking my diet pills again. I did a ton of research on the top 10 rated diet pills, spent good money on them, and still have about half a bottle left. So I need to start taking them again. Do you ever feel like you just need someone to smack you and say.."Get your crap together! " That's how I feel right now...lol!

Cleaning is one of my "jobs" as a stay at home mom... I will be the first to admit that I fail miserably at this job! My house is usually a disaster most of the time....Toys are usually all over the place. It doesn't help that after I pick up toys or have the kids pick up toys, they are back out in the living room in about 10 seconds. The "joys" of having a two year old. Ahhh...soooo much fun.

Last weekend I sat down and made out a list of all the spring cleaning stuff I wanted to get done.. Yes, I realize that it is now summer...But I always say better late than never...lol! The list includes stuff like washing windows, washing the kitchen rugs, cleaning out closets, and the super duper fun chore of cleaning the bathroom from top to bottom....ooooo can't wait.

*Now...please notice that I said I made out this list last weekend.* Go ahead and guess how many things I've done so far.......just guess....lol! Ahh...I'll tell you...a big fat ZERO! I hate cleaning....Where's my magic wand?????????????

Today was the memorial service for Michael Jackson. I bawled for a good two hours. It was filled with many touching speeches and performances by Mariah Carey, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Brooke Shields, Usher, Lionel Ritchie, Berry Gordy, Smokey Robinson and many more. What really got my tears flowing though, was when Michael's daughter, Paris, just 11 years old, got up and spoke. She said he was "the best father you could ever imagine." I think that was the most touching moment of the whole memorial. It was so sad to watch the service, but it was definitely a must. It is history, and will be talked about and remembered for the rest of my life and beyond, I'm sure. If you missed the memorial you can click here for some of the video.

I was trying to think of some different types of exercise routines today. One of my friends on Facebook has been talking a lot about Zumba. Zumba is a new dance/exercise class that is getting very popular. I watched a little video on it earlier..looks pretty fun. Google "zumba" and you'll find a bunch of info on it. Looks fun!

My husband has been wanting to try Kettlebells. They are supposed to be a really good cardio workout, and really good for your core muscles, like your abs. Since he wants to get those six pack abs that everyone wants, I think the kettlebells would be good for him. I might even give them a try if he got them...couldn't hurt huh?! lol!

I need something fun to do. I thought about belly dancing...anyone ever done that? How did you like it? Any other fun and different exercise routines I should know about?

Ok...I know that it's summer...I know that we are infested with fudgies(tourists...we call them fudgies in northern Michigan) about this time every year. I know that, and I accept that. I'm still going to complain about it though! It is soooo freaking annoying. It takes forever to get from point A to point B. The stores are packed which means longer lines, which means it takes forever just to pay for your groceries. I'm sick of waiting to pull out on to the main road. I'm sick of waiting in line at the grocery store. It's one of the few things I hate about summer.........ugh!!!! ok...rant over..

This weekend is 4th of July weekend. It's supposed to be a weekend filled with fun and family. I think it's gonna end up with us sitting at home on our butts doing nothing...lol! We might do a barbecue, hot dogs of course, they are a must on the 4th. I think it might be considered unpatriotic to not have them...lol! We will make the best of the weekend anyway...or at least try.

I might hit a few yard sales too, that's always fun. I would love to find a good used treadmill. I've been looking at treadmills online and I don't think we could afford a new one right now, but a good used one might be possible. I need a piece of exercise equipment, and I would love a treadmill or an elliptical machine. I've had both before and love them both. I think getting some exercise would get me out of this funk I'm in...maybe..lol! It would definitely give me more energy, which I desperately need. So fingers crossed I find a good, cheap, made before the 1990's treadmill....lol! Not gonna hold my breath, but it would be nice.

I might also try to talk the hubby into a building a little campfire in the backyard and making smores! MMMM..I love me some smores!!!!! I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!!!
