Well I just tried to do a little bit of my shopping and I can't get the darn place to take my card. They say they accept credit cards, the one I'm trying to use, but it's not working. Maybe it's a sign that I shouldn't use it..lol! Yeah, yeah, I like this idea...maybe I should just save my money this year and not get anybody anything. Homemade cards are good right? lol! I'm sure my two little kids will totally understand....yeah right! LOL! There would be one huge crying mess on Christmas morning if I did that. Ugh...ok I'm off to look somewhere else....wish me luck..

My house is a disaster right now! The dishes are piling up and almost overtaking the counter. There are toys everywhere. The laundry is starting to resemble a small mountain. So, obviously nothing has been done in the few days that I have been laying on the couch nursing my bad back. So now I'm going to have to clean for a good day to get this place half way clean. Ugh! I hate cleaning. I especially hate doing the dishes, and here's why.... Our sink isn't all the way broken, but pretty close. The water kind of just trickles out of the faucet. Here's the thing though..the sprayer on the sink...works just fine. So if you want to clean the dishes off before you put them in the dishwasher you have to use the sprayer for everything. I hate my sink! I would really like to get one of those copper kitchen sinks, but right now I would settle for at least a working sink..lol! Ok...I probably should go do something productive....wish me luck!

The snow is gone now, but Thanksgiving night it snowed all night and then part of the day Friday. I am not ready for snow...at all. I hate the cold, I hate walking through it, I hate wearing boots, I hate driving in it most of all! I'm always afraid I'm going to end up in an accident or end up stuck in a snow bank somewhere. I guess that's what I get for living in Michigan...lol! I'm seriously starting to reconsider that..lol! Florida is sounding better and better all the time. Well, except for the hurricanes. I'd rather deal with snow than those. My house at least won't blow away with the snow...it might get buried, but at least its still gonna be there..lol!

So, since I was in pain all weekend...I obviously missed out on Black Friday shopping. I'm not sure I would of went anyway...I'm not much for being in the middle of huge crowds of people...lol! I plan on doing most of my Christmas shopping online this year. At most I have to deal with is busy
call centers if I have a question or something...which is unlikely. So it's really ideal for me. I can order and have it delivered to my door...it's great! So did you battle the huge crowds of people to get a great deal or did you stay home and do your shopping online?

I ate way too much this weekend. Like WAY too much..lol! Dinner was excellent...so I ate plenty of that. Then came dessert....apple pie, pumpkin pie, and 2 kinds of cheesecake...peanut butter cup..and white chocolate raspberry...mmm....both delicious. I ate plenty of those...and then sent the hubby to the store for more pie..lol! He came home with 2 dutch apple pies..they were sold out of pumpkin :( So we've been eating pie like mad the last few days...lol! I think I've probably gained at least 5 pounds over the weekend...lol! Time to start taking my Alli again or maybe some
apidexin or something..lol! I definitely feel horrible today, all the pie is catching up to me...lol! It's revenge of the pie! LOL!

I hope your weekend went better than mine..lol! Thanksgiving day was pretty good...dinner was very good...and that's where all the fun stopped. I got up from the table to take care of my plate. I was walking to the garbage when an excruciating pain shot down my back...it was horrible. It almost made my needs buckle. I grabbed onto the table and stood there for a few minutes until my husband could help me into a chair. I spent the next three days sitting on the couch wincing in pain....ah what fun..huh? I did have some pain medicine, but it only took the edge off for the most part. Today it is finally feeling better..thank goodness...of course I have a ton of stuff to catch up on, since I spent three days on the couch..ugh! So how was your holiday?

Badly! I wish I could just pack some stuff up and go. Maybe find a hotel on the beach or a Outer Banks rental, or even a friend to stay with...I would be no problem at all...lol.I swear! Relax on a beach sipping a drink. No kids, no screaming, no yelling, no tattling....Peace and quiet..ahhhh...it sounds so nice.

Unfortunately I know our next vacation is not until next May(insert sad smiley here) for my niece's graduation. It's going to be a long 6 and a half months. Come on May!!!!!! Are you going on vacation? Tell me about it...I'll just have to live vicariously through all of you..lol!

Have you ever seen the episode of Friends where Ross gets his teeth whitened and they are blindingly white?....it's a hilarious episode. Well anyway, I thought about that today because my friend called and said she's going to get her teeth whitened this week. She's super excited about it...she lost a bunch of weight..and this was her "reward" to herself for doing it. So when she walks into that Plano cosmetic dentist this week...it will be like the cherry on top of a great big sundae. I'm so happy for her. :)

Isn't funny how when you can't think of something, it drives you nuts..lol! My brother just called wanting to know what the car that hangs underneath a Tram is called....it took some help from Google and friend across the country to figure it out..LOL...its called a Gondola sometimes..for those that were wondering.

That happens to me all the time...usually because my brother is calling with some off the wall question..lol. Everything from when a star was born...to what rocker switches are.

Usually its because he's doing a crossword puzzle or something...He says if he's ever on Who wants to be a Millionaire I'm going to be his "phone a friend".....LOL!! All I say is..ok..but I'm getting my cut! LOL!

Last night was a very bad night. I was up half the night with my jaw hurting. So I laid on the couch with a ice pack on my face. It was fun.....not! lol! I'm pretty sure I have TMJ or something. My jaw makes that really awful clicking sound when I open and shut my mouth. What's really bothering me though is that the tendon or muscle or whatever in there is super tight, and because of that I can't even open my mouth all the way...yeah its great...ugh!!! The dentist said if I have my wisdom teeth removed it might help..he thinks they are causing swelling that is not helping the situation. So, that's gonna be fun and costly....I need a change of luck...anytime now! lol!
