I have always wanted to live away from the city. My husband and I lived in a downtown apartment before we had kids, but after we had our first child we decided to move into a farmhouse. This is the first time I have had to set up utilities as my husband had already set them up when we moved into his apartment in the city. I found a phone company pretty easily, but it took me a while to figure out that I had to find a Satellite Internet Provider in order for us to get online. We never had any issues with internet in the city, and I had not thought about the fact that we would have limited access to the internet. However, I won’t have much time to get on the internet now that we have a farm to run. We now own a couple of cows and a pig, and we even have some friends who are paying us to let their horses stay in our barn. This new life is a drastic change from the city life we used to live. I think our kids will enjoy living here and will make many memories on the farm.
