I was talking to my friend last night on the phone, she lives far away. Too far. She was telling me about some stuff that happened the night before and I was wishing that I could of been there for her, but the miles between us are too far. Soon they will be even farther. She's saving up money and will soon be moving to Edmonton. She has family there, and is in need of a good support system around her.

I was just looking at the Edmonton area, and it looks like a nice area to live and maybe visit, for me. I'm hoping that after she finds a place to rent and gets all settled that I'll be able to take a much needed vacation and visit her for a week or so. I think a girls week would be nice. Heck, I wouldn't mind even helping her unpack if it meant I got a vacation from my every day life. lol.
